NSSF CLOSES KASESE OFFICE TO CUT OPERATIONAL COSTS

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Kasese branch will close its offices on February 28th and relocate to Fort Portal, the Contributions Relations Manager has said.
There have been roumors that NSSF where workers save fifteen percent of their monthly salaries was closing because of lack of enough clients.
But Solomon Amwesiga says the intention of shifting the offices to merge with the Fort Portal branch is a managerial decision aimed at reducing on the operational costs.
Amwesiga says that on reducing the operations costs, the clients will enjoy higher returns on their savings.
NSSF staff will on routine basis be conducting field trips to Kasese district to mobilize savings and new members.
Amwesiga said that he himself will frequent Kasese adding that his contacts will remain the same hence appealing to the clients to keep in touch with the staff for better services.
The NSSF offices on plot 93, Rwenzori road in Kasese Municipality will remain opened until next Thursday when all materials will be transferred to Fort Portal.
